Using free Reports to create a viral marketing effect is not really new, but it can be very effective if it´s done right.

Here are some important tips to create a successful marketing campaign:

1. The Title – The Title of your ebook must grab the attention of your targeted audience. A good strategy is to ask a question or a “Call to Action” for example.

2. Content – This is the most important point when it comes to create a viral effect. Create useful and unique content!

3. Quiz – You can include a Quiz in your Ebook and post the right answer on your website! Don´t forget to include a link to the answer in your free e-book, this will lead the reader to your website!

4. Humor – Humor is another effective way to create a viral effect.

5. Brandable – Create a brandable report and give your readers an incentive to spread your ebook. You can set up your own affiliate program if you are selling your own products or you can include other affiliate links and make them rebrandable. (That means your readers can insert their own affiliate links into the ebook to earn a commission by giving away your free report).

It´s not easy to create a viral marketing effect with a free report or free ebooks!

Let your readers know that they are allowed to give the ebook away for free to their friend, their list or on their website.

To increase this effect you can give away a readymade Landing page to your readers, to make it as easy as possible for them to giveaway your report to build their list!

It´s very important to promote your free report, give it away for free on your website, post it to the most popular free ebook directories, blog about it, give it away to your list, post a download link at related massage boards and so on…

One mistake telesales professionals make is making their presentation to soon. They just can’t help diving into their sales pitch once they smell an opportunity to sell. This can be fatal if the information you have gathered is not enough. Once you feel the urge to present prematurely, stop and think deeply. Ask yourself if you have already qualified the problem so you could come up with the perfect solution. Once you get past this stage, you’ll be better equipped to handle the presentation part. You know which of the available options is best suited for the prospect and you can provide the major benefits of your product or service.

Giving your sales recommendation is a critical part of the sales process so you have to focus on your product or service and how it can satisfy the prospect’s needs or solve their problem. To make your presentation more effective, personalize it so that the prospect understands what your product does and what value they can get out of it.

After getting as much information about your prospect in your telemarketing calls, building rapport with them, asking probing questions, and finding out their needs, wants and what they do, you think of how you call help them. Your solution usually comes in the form of many options. But do you offer all the available options? If you do, you will most likely get your prospect confused. Giving too many choices crowds their mind and makes decision making difficult. It is like shopping for something new to wear – the myriad of choices available will overwhelm anyone.

The telemarketing lesson here is you have to give your prospect at most two options to choose from. Prospects usually feel an urgency to make an immediate decision when faced with just two options. Three or more options will be too many.

And here’s the trick – when you give the two options, the last option you will mention is the one that you want your prospect to take. People usually remember the latest data provided because it is what is ‘imprinted’ in their minds.

You can give three options to your prospect but you should present it in a way that will make them ignore the two and go for the one that you want them to take, which is placed in the middle and highlighted while the other two are presented in an inferior position.

After doing all your best and you have convinced your prospect that the best time to buy is NOW, get their commitment by asking for the sale!

If you’re looking for ways to make money through the web, one of the more effective ways to succeed nowadays is via article marketing. Now, it may be true that this method can be highly effective; however, not everybody understands the simple concept behind it.

This is why to help you cash in on the World Wide Web, this article will help you learn how to earn money online through article marketing. But before the tips, it is very important that you understand the ropes how to earn money online through article marketing. Basically, there are two ways you can get cash out of this method. The first one involves the writing process itself, while the second one mostly counts on the link and the products that will go with the article.

In the first way, all you have to do is to get your services hired by someone looking for writers. A lot of online marketers are hiring people to do the article writing for their products mostly because writing is the easiest thing to do, thus it is the safest task to outsource. You see, article writing can earn you up to more or less $10 per piece, depending on your skills and the product you’ll be promoting. Usually, the articles will just span from 300 to a thousand words, so this amount is a really fair deal already.

The second way how to earn money online through article marketing would be for those who are selling their own products and services. Since the web is now the number one place people go to when they’re looking for just about anything, writing articles for your product is a big plus to help people understand what your product is about and how it can help them.

This method makes use of the article to promote their sites as well, since most article directories allow members to include their links in their submissions. Basically, this is the very core of article marketing, as you are using the article itself as a tool to promote and advertise whatever it is that you’re selling.

Hopefully this piece has helped you make your mind about learning how to earn money online through article marketing. Surely, with the right techniques, you’ll find this method very effective and rewarding for your quest to earn through the web. Just make sure, though, that you research some more to arm yourself with further information regarding the topic.

Email Marketing is a direct marketing method and customer relationship management (CRM) device which, if executed correctly, enjoys some of the best returns on investment out of any of the other ‘tools’ in the eMarketer’s kit. Email Marketing can be tremendously effective as its power lies in its ability both to broadcast, and also to target individuals with personalised content simultaneously. This ability to customise on a mass scale, combined with low costs per contact and total measurability make Email Marketing an attractive channel to many businesses and brands.

Central to great CRM is careful targeting, well-segmented mailing lists and customisation. And of course, what really counts is content. The type of content that an email requires really depends on its purpose.

Broadly, there are two different types of commercial emails which can be used to market a business, brand, product or service. First, promotional emails intend to illicit more immediate action though the promotion of a special offer or complementary product or service. Email Newsletters (sometimes also called “retention emails”) are the second type. These are based more on building long-term relationships with current and potential customers by providing useful or valuable information to subscribers.

As a side note, emails can also be used in CRM as part of a “transaction process”, such as notifying customers of when their orders have shipped, or to confirm order details and so forth.

What follows are 5 tips for creating great content for email newsletters.

1. Set a tone

Your readers should know what to expect from you in every edition. Is the newsletter going to be from someone in particular? Or is it a more general publication? Of course the tone of the newsletter should match the business’ or brand’s “voice”.

2. What’s the point?

Think carefully about who is going to be reading this newsletter and why. As yourself, what’s in it for them? Very often the best kinds of content to provide is something that’s educational or newsy, provides solutions to a common problem, is a “how-to” or offers decent opinion or analysis. Once again, this is will depend entirely on the nature of the sender’s business or brand. What’s important though is that you offer value to your readers.

3. You don’t have to tell the whole story

Emails should not be epic novels. Therefore don’t include whole, long articles in the body of your email newsletter. It’s a much better idea to rather use shorter “teasers” and link to the full articles on your site. This keeps your emails punchy and relevant.

4. Don’t use too many images

Steer clear of using too many images in email newsletters. Many email clients block images, or may catch image-heavy mailers in their spam filters. Also, bear in mind that many people may be reading their email on their cellphones – and images will not render well on these devises. Always ensure that the bulk of your copy is in plain text, and don’t use images for content headings if at all possible.

5. Scanning. Makes. Easy. Reading.

Like website content, newsletter content needs to be scanable so that readers can quickly see what’s important to them on the page. Engage readers with headings and subheadings that pique their interest and make use of bolding to highlight important words or phrases.

You have taken the leap and are beginning your own business. One of the most important first steps you have to take when embarking on a new business is the creation of your logo. The logo must be effective enough to grab your customers and keep them remembering your business. The design of a great logo has four components that take it from fair to great.

1) The importance of the color scheme: The most important thing to remember when choosing color is if your logo has one of every color on the wheel, it does not make it more appealing. One of best rules of thumb when creating your logo, keep the color palette at two or three maximum colors. Fewer colors will make your logo appear more professional and easier to remember.

2) The logo should match your business: Because a logo is eye catching or you think it is cute, does not necessarily mean it will be a matching logo to the type of business you have. The logo should be a statement for your company.

3) Make it memorable: A great logo is one that customers remember and associated with your company. Try to make it fairly simple in style and design.

4) It has to be unique: A logo should have uniqueness to it – one that is not like any other in your businesses field.

Designing a logo with effectiveness will be a complex process, however, if your desire is have a business that is successful and remembered then it is imperative you do not rush the design process. Having an amazing workspace and all of the gadgets any new business would drool over, is not going to make the business. A company basically speaks for itself. The identity of your company will be reflected through your correspondence and outward appearance, all of which are reflected through your logo.

Every item associated with your business will have its own ‘branding’. This will be what associates a potential customer with your business. If you are unable to create a design on your own, a professional designer will be happy to listen to your business ideas and put them together to create a logo suitable to your business. A well thought out logo identifies everything from letter heads to business cards as those pertaining to your company. These items are what separates you from a competitor, as well as, the logo design will define how you want people to recognize your company.

The most important component of a corporation in identity of one is their specific logo and it deserves special attention. Hiring a creative and knowledgeable logo designer for creation of your logo is an important part of the process in order to perfect the impression you’re attempting to say. Once you have a grasp of the value in a well designed logo and have the right characteristics in place, you have made the first and one of the most important leaps to a successful business.

If you are an Internet marketer, you know how important it is to plan to succeed. You must also keep yourself abreast with the newest technology and tools that will make your Internet marketing strategies more profitable.

With Internet marketing, there are many tasks to learn like keyword and niche research, setting up an email marketing strategy, effective social networking, and many more. Video marketing is the newest trend among Internet marketers. It is a very lucrative aspect of Internet marketing because it is personalization and professionalism rolled into one.

Video marketing is a powerful Internet marketing strategy. For now, only the top Internet marketers who can invest in the right tools and techniques are successful in video marketing.

This year, more and more Internet marketers will be looking for video marketing methods that will help them in dominating their chosen niche. With the increased demand for software, developers are now focused on creating tools that can be utilized by the average consumer.

What are the benefits of video marketing? This will help you create a professional, positive, and high-tech brand for your company. It highlights the good points of your services and products. It greatly increases the amount of time visitors stay in your site. And it is very effective in connecting with your target market for increased sale conversion.

What tools can you use for Video marketing? If you have the money to invest, you can purchase Camtasia although some people find this video editing software a bit difficult to learn. For free tools, you can use Camtasia Studio which is easier to use. Learning how to use Camtasia Studio will teach you the basics of video editing before you get into complicated recordings and software.

Or, you can invest in a point and click technology. With a Flip Video Camera, you simply aim, push the button to record or stop, and upload your recordings online through the USB port. It is that easy!

Now, more and more tools for video marketing will be used as part of an SEO support system. Video advertising will become more popular even in the social networking industry.

Imagine capturing your target market through a video that is automatically played in Facebook and other social networking sites. And mobile advertising will not be far behind, too. Therefore, if you want to edge out of your competitors, start educating yourself about this type of Internet marketing. Greatly increase your consumer base through video marketing and mobile advertising!

A new report on the media buying plans of advertisers and agencies indicates that having a “presence on social networks” is one of the top priorities of their media plans for next year. According to the 2010 Media Planning Intelligence Study, released by the Center for Media Research in conjunction with InsightExpress, found that:

* 57.7% of respondents “ideally” plan, and

* 56.3% “realistically” plan to include social media in their media plans next year.

The key phrase here is “plan” as without a well researched social media strategy, there will likely be numerous failed social media initiatives.

Here is some steps social media strategy that Sally Falkow developed and has presented at several social media bootcamps:

1. Listen to conversations – what good or bad things are they saying about you and your competitors?

2. Establish share of voice – there are already conversations going on – what share do you have?

Small business blog marketing consists of blogging about your business. It definitely is a great tool that you should use to get your business out there and known by others. However, you will need to be patient because it is a long process that will require much of your attention. Just because you have a blog does not mean that someone is going to find it and read it. You are going to have to make it known. If you have a website for your business, you can link your blog to it and that will let the ones that know about your business and business website know about your blog as well.

Small business blog marketing is something that anyone can do. Having a blog and keeping it up to date with the latest information is not hard. All you need to have is a plan and you will be set to market any type of business from your blog. Whether you are selling a product or a service, it does not matter. A blog that is marketed the right way will be beneficial to any business whatever it might be.

So you are probably wondering how you are going to accomplish this small business blog marketing. When you are marketing a blog, you pretty much do it the same way that you would market a website. It is going to need keywords, and content. You can write the content yourself, or pay someone else to write it for you. That part is totally up to you. However you will want to be sure that the content is decent and something that your readers will want to read. This will keep them coming back. Make sure that the content is written from special keywords that you choose. You will also want to become familiar with SEO which is Search Engine Optimization. SEO will help you to optimize your blog to get a better ranking with the search engines.

Once you have chosen the keywords, and gotten some content published on your blog, you will be ready to get it out there some more. Link exchanges are wonderful for marketing your small business blog. You want to try and exchange links with sites that are relevant to yours, but not in direct competition. If you try to exchange links with sites in competition with yours, you are going to find that many of them will turn you down in fear of losing business to you.

Paid directories are a big part of small business blog marketing as well. You can pay some directories to list your blog URL in their directory under the specific category that it falls under. However, some of these even have specific qualifications that you must have to get in. Follow all of the application steps, and you should be ok. Just do not try to submit your blog to a directory that it does not qualify for, or fit in.

Another important thing to remember when you are into small business blog marketing is that if anyone leaves you a comment on your blog, you should acknowledge it and respond. You can also comment on other blogs that are relevant to yours, and leave a link to your blog as well. This will help bring in visitors to your blog, and you will begin to see more and more traffic.

Twitter is the new marketing tool everyone uses. Even though the purpose of Twitter is to help people socialize it has now become a great and amazing marketing tool to be exploited.
I will present you 5 different ways in which you can transform your Twitter from a basic micro-blogging platform into a income booster.

1. Extend your marketing strategy
It’s important to use Twitter as an extension to your current marketing process. Take what you’ve already got as ads and strategies and implement it on Twitter too. This can’t serve as an independent mean of getting yourself known, but it’s best exploiting it like a new discovery. Don’t give up what you’ve already created, but extend it to what’s new and catches the eye of the public.

2. Announce your deals and discounts through Twitter.
Twitter is a micro-blogging platform. What does this mean? It means that it’s a combination between a blog and an instant messenger. This makes it great for announcing the latest news. If you are using Twitter for your business nothing can catch better than a promotion and a 24 hour discount announced in the last minute.

3. Build a community of real, true fans.
True fans are not just any fans. They are the followers which are literally interested in what you have to say or what you have in store for them. A true fan won’t just buy your products, but he will also tell all his other followers about it. True fans are the ones which do the real marketing for you. You tweet something – they re-tweet it the same day.
A community of 1000 true fans is in fact worth 100 000 ordinary fans. This is because real fans promote you to others just like you would do it yourself.
So, rather than investing your time in getting in superficial contact with lots of people, just find the ones which are really interested in what you have and keep them connected, create a community for them.

4. Create intriguing discussion around your products.
Twitter is the one place where negative publicity is not necessarily bad. People will talk about it and there’s always room for conflict. So if you have a negative report on what you are selling Twitter is the place where that can be discussed and transform into something positive and productive.

5. Gain credibility.
Ever felt like your buyers feel distant? I bet you’ve tried lots of methods to get them closer. It’s all about creating a warm feeling around your products. Again, using Twitter you can give a more human look to your company. You will be closer to the people who like your products, you will be ore credible and ultimately sell more.

Here are some tips to increase traffic to your website.

1. Make sure that your website is very informative. Make sure that the articles you write are what they are looking for. Do not just tell them things that they already know about or something that they can find in other websites. Do not ever copy and paste things you read in other sites.

2. Proofread, proofread and proofread. You will lose readers if they see a lot of errors in grammar or typographical errors. Make sure also that your contents are accurate. Giving wrong information will lessen your credibility.

3. Make your site easy to read. Do not write long articles. If you have a lot to say, write them in several short paragraphs. You can also use bulleted forms. They are easier to read. Remember, people who search on the internet do not have much time to spend.

4. Write articles using tips or ‘how to’ formats. These are usually what people look for. These give readers directly what they need. You can write tips for gaining this or achieving that. Or you can write how to choose this or how to build that.

5. Regularly add new things to your site. Add polls or surveys. People like answering short surveys or polls. Just make sure you give the results after a specific period of time so they would know they did not waste time answering them.

6. Choose keywords carefully. Instead of using single keywords, use keyword phrases. Keyword phrases will give better rankings in search engines than single ones.

7. Do not overstuff your articles with keywords. Search engines will likely classify them as spam so you lose your chances of being found by searchers. Instead of overstuffing, use variations of your keywords.

8. Use meta tags. These are the codes that only search engines see. They give your page an accurate description so it won’t be considered as spam.

9. Create links with other websites related to yours. This will allow you to attract their readers to visit your site as well. Make sure though that you only link with credible sites. Linking with sites that are not reliable will also make your site less credible.

10. Offer promotional gimmicks like giving freebies. Freebies can help increase traffic to your website. Everybody loves freebies, right? Freebies could be downloadable software or free tickets for contests or raffles.
